Wonderful 😀 - nice room 😞 - no power plug in the lobby/bar area

Very Good 😀 - The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Comfortable bed. Bathrooms are a bit ‘old’ but functional and clean. The staff is very helpful and kind, the location of the hotel is central and close to bus, metro and the railway station. 😞 - Breakfast was not bad. In fact, it was quite rich and varied. But frankly too expensive. 27 euros for a breakfast really seems overpriced to me. Otherwise, I don't have much to add. The stay was pleasant

Very good 😀 - Next to city center and rail station. 😞 - Unfortunately the bath was not clean, there was hair left all over the place.

Exceptional 😀 - Cozy room and delicious breakfast with a variety of food (hot meals, appetizers, good coffee). Moreover, I got a privileged room with complimentary drinks and snacks in the fridge. Staff nice and helpful. 😞 - None

forgot to serve my starter, Rumpsteak was over cooked and blend (menu mentioned chimichurri but was nowhere to be found) potatoes were overcooked and the salad was terribly basic

Big rooms, generous breakfast, friendly staff. Ok, it's just a chain hotel, but with its budget prices you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Best location in Bochum (although within the region I would advise against staying in Bochum)

Conveniently located next to Bochum's train station, the hotel offers nice rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is very good. Breakfast is excellent. You can use the hotel parking for 23€ or use the near by underground city garage at a 1.6€ an hour or 14€ a day. There are a lot of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommended if you need to stay in the area.

Great hotel - would recommend. 😀 - The hotel is great (well located, good facilities, good staff), and the room was very comfortable. Overall it was mostly up to the standard I'd expect. 😞 - The cleanliness of the room could've been better. Staff only comes in every few days, and when they did, a few things happened: - didn't replace with new coffee, even though i only had 2 left - didn't add new toilet paper, and the replacement one looked very old - glasses didn't look the cleanest - bathtub was a bit old and clogged easily I also found the bathtub impractical. The shower head had a very awkward angle when put on a stand, so it was hard not to get water everywhere.

Decent stay but small improvements needed for the prices 😀 - Clean and quiet place, sufficient equipment. 😞 - The restaurants services can be better (language, food variety, food quality - all the breads for breakfast were either stale or hard, the warm food was more like room-temperature when served)
